Samuel Harris

Hello, I’m Samuel Harris

Game Developer | Programmer | Photographer

A little about me…

I’m an enthusiastic programmer based in the outskirts of Greater London! I am a massive self-proclaimed tech nerd and love to explore all types of tech, from cameras to computers and mobile phones to routers.

I am currently pursuing a career in my dream job as a game developer. At 11 years old, I started making mods for Minecraft; after learning the basics, I knew from then on a career within the games industry was what I wanted to do. I love games and have been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is playing Spyro: Year of the Dragon on the PlayStation 1, spending endless hours on the skateboard level!

During my free time I like to play games and practice photography. It’s a hobby I’ve loved for a long time and more recently been able to take up. I’m a big lover of Street Photography, and I think it captures the real essence of Human life and is one of the rawest forms of photography. I especially love the work of W. Eugene Smith from when he visited Minimata, Japan. Smith used the art of photography to expose the horrible truths and document what the citizens of Minimata were going through at the time.

Recently I have grown an interest in photography, I do it purely as a hobby. I currently use a Fujifilm X-E4 and Nikon FM.
